MHS radiators specified for luxury hotelApril 21, 2015
Over 60 Kompakt Plan flat fronted panel radiators from MHS Radiators have been installed in The Atholl – one of Edinburgh’s most exclusive hotels.
The installation was part of the major refurbishment and conversion of a Georgian townhouse, from commercial offices back to four high-end luxury apartments. The Kompakt Plan radiators provide understated and effective space heating throughout the hotel’s four extensive guest suites.
The radiators were specified by Edinburgh-based The Keenan Consultancy. Commenting on MHS Radiators, James Culbertson, said: “I’ve been specifying MHS for many years, so I knew they would have a great selection of models suitable for this project. After showing our client various options, the Kompakt Plan was chosen for its sleek and contemporary design which fitted in perfectly with the luxury décor of the apartments.”
With more than 60 models as standard, the Kompakt Plan flat fronted radiator range includes the horizontal Type 11 (single panel, single convector) and Type 22 (double panel, double convectors) and type 10 & 20 single and double panel vertical versions. Manufactured using 1.20mm steel for their main construction and a robust 1.35mm sheet steel front panel, each radiator is designed with durability in mind.
The Kompakt range of single and double panel radiators, from MHS delivers variety, quality and exceptional value. Comprising the Kompakt Plan, Kompakt Panel, and Kompakt Line, the range is among some of the highest output compact panel radiators available in the UK.
Featuring factory fitted side panels and top grilles as standard, each radiator is comprehensively pre-treated and powder coat finished to RAL 9016 Traffic White. Fully factory tested, the Kompakt range is suitable for use with operating pressures of up to 10bar as standard (max test: 13bar) and a maximum operating temperature of up to 120°C.
